I interviewed the creative director, Randy Varnell, and asked him why they made the decision to announce Kid Ultra instead of Nova in a robot suit. This conversation also let us talk a bit about the upcoming Battleborn hero, Kid Ultra, and how the Nova Easter Egg ended up in the command menu.
Nova Easter Egg
If you try to access the gear menu before reaching command rank 3 it will trigger a hidden dialogue with Nova. At first, she won’t give you access but if you keep pushing her she will go nuts.
